Registered Nurse School Setting - West New York, NJ

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN/LVN license in New Jersey
• Previous pediatric nursing experience required
• Ability to manage routine and emergency needs in a school setting
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and compassion
• No new graduate applicants; prior hands-on experience is essential
• Willingness and capability to ride the bus with the student each day

What You'll Do:

• Deliver direct 1:1 medical care and support for a student during school hours
• Accompany and ensure safety on daily bus rides to and from school
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor, document, and report changes in the student’s health status
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that supports the student’s participation in school activities
