School Registered Nurse (RN) in West Valley City, UT

Your responsibilities will include offering direct nursing care, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and first aid, monitoring chronic conditions, maintaining accurate health records, and serving as a healthcare resource for students and staff. You’ll play a crucial part in health screenings and collaborate with families and educational professionals to address individual medical needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid in Utah
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting highly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach when working with children of all backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and triage for student health concerns and emergencies
• Create and update individualized care plans for students with medical needs
• Administer prescribed medications and emergency interventions as required
• Maintain confidential and accurate student health records
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices
• Collaborate with families, school counselors, and other educational staff
