Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unencumbered RN or LPN/LVN license in the state
• Background in pediatric or school nursing strongly preferred
• Experience with NG tube feeding, administration of medication, and performing suctioning
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and reliability
• Comfort and compassion when engaging with children with medical needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational staff and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care throughout the school day, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
• Accompany student on the bus to and from school, monitoring and attending to healthcare needs during transit
• Administer NG tube feedings, prescribed medications, and suctioning as necessary in accordance with care plan
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of health interventions, medications, and student observations
• Provide clear communication with teachers, staff, and guardians regarding the student’s daily needs and status
• Respond promptly to any medical concerns or emergencies
