Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Prior school nursing experience (high school level preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work school hours (7AM – 2:30PM), and capacity to adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Must include certification/licensure and resume with your application.
• LPNs are not accepted for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct professional nursing services, emergency care, and first aid to students and staff.
• Administer medications with thorough documentation and proper storage/security.
• Support health education and special school district wellness initiatives.
• Maintain regular checks on building AEDs and ensure healthcare compliance records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Fulfill mandated reporting requirements for abuse/neglect concerns.
