Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Prior school nursing experience (high school level preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work school hours (7AM – 2:30PM), and capacity to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Must include certification/licensure and resume with your application.
- LPNs are not accepted for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct professional nursing services, emergency care, and first aid to students and staff.
- Administer medications with thorough documentation and proper storage/security.
- Support health education and special school district wellness initiatives.
- Maintain regular checks on building AEDs and ensure healthcare compliance records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Fulfill mandated reporting requirements for abuse/neglect concerns.
