Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required
• Experience in school settings preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
• Approachable, caring attitude with a genuine interest in working with children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage in absence of the regular school nurse or health room technician
• Administer first aid and routine medical care
• Dispense prescribed medications according to school policy
• Manage and document incidents, treatment, and student visits accurately
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe, healthy environment
• Educate students on wellness, hygiene, and health topics as needed
