School Registered Nurse | Whiteland, Indiana

A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential healthcare support for a homebound student participating in virtual learning. This part-time contract position is based in Whiteland, IN, and requires a commitment of 2 hours per day, five days per week.

Responsibilities include monitoring the student’s vital signs and health status during their online instruction, assisting with toileting needs, administering medication as required, and attending to any additional minor medical needs. The nurse will work closely alongside the student’s parent and paraprofessional, who provide instructional and in-person assistance throughout the day.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid RN licensure to practice
• Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Comfort with monitoring vital signs and managing basic medical care needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, paraeducators, and educational staff
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
