A school building is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services within an elementary educational setting. This contract position, available for the current school year, is located in Williamsburg, VA, and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications according to established protocols
• Maintain accurate and thorough health documentation
• Monitor and manage care for students with diabetes and medically fragile conditions
• Provide skilled support for students with g-tubes
• Oversee workers’ compensation cases related to student injuries or staff health issues
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure student well-being

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia Nursing License is required
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a school setting preferred
• Expertise in medication administration and clinical documentation
• Skilled in managing chronic health conditions such as diabetes
• Experience with gastrostomy tube (g-tube) care and medically fragile populations
• Knowledgeable about workers' compensation procedures in a school environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential
