A healthcare professional is sought to provide essential nursing services within a school setting in Willimantic, CT. This contract position offers the opportunity to support student health and contribute to a safe, healthy educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering first aid and managing acute and chronic health issues among students
  • Conducting health assessments and screenings
  • Developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans

  • Maintaining accurate health records and complying with state and school health policies
  • Responding promptly to medical emergencies and facilitating referrals as needed

Qualifications and experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the ability to practice in Connecticut
  • Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric/community nursing preferred
  • Strong knowledge of school health regulations and student health needs
  • Effective communication skills with children, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
