Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license required
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and provide care for student health needs, injuries, and illnesses
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Develop and execute care plans for students with chronic health conditions
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventative care
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as a healthcare advocate, as needed
