Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support a Special Education School District as a District Float Nurse. This role involves traveling to multiple school sites within the district and providing comprehensive nursing support to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general school nurse duties across multiple school locations

• Serve as a District Float RN within the Special Education district

• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with district and state guidelines

• Provide health support and monitoring for students with special needs

• Ride the school bus as needed for field trips and student transportation support

• Maintain accurate health records and documentation

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Ability to travel between different school sites within the district

• Comfort working in a Special Education setting

• Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills

• School nursing experience preferred, but not required
