Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working with children or adolescents strongly preferred
• Ability to respond to health emergencies and provide urgent care as needed
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
• Proficiency in managing medical records and adhering to confidentiality requirements
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and school health documentation a plus
• CPR/BLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency care to students and staff as needed
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to develop individual health plans
• Conduct health screenings and monitor students’ chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate health records and contribute to compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide guidance and health education to students, families, and staff
• Serve as a resource for public health protocols and immunization compliance
• Support the emotional well-being and safety of all students
