Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or adolescent care setting preferred
• Proficient in basic first aid and emergency response procedures
• Comfortable administering medications and maintaining accurate health records
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and care for students presenting with illness or injury in the school health room
• Administer medications as prescribed and keep accurate, confidential documentation
• Serve as the primary healthcare resource to students, working with faculty and parents as needed
• Promote healthy environments and practices throughout the school
• Respond to medical emergencies and communicate appropriately with caregivers and emergency personnel
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming nurse’s office conducive to student care
