School Registered Nurse (RN) in Wyoming, MI

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting a young learner with complex medical needs throughout the 2026-2027 school year! We're seeking a caring and detail-oriented nurse to serve as a 1:1 support for a student who is ventilator and tracheostomy dependent. Your expertise will provide the critical day-to-day care and reassurance this student and their family need.

This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. You’ll arrive in the morning to accompany the student on the bus to school, remain on campus to provide comprehensive care, and ensure a safe return home each afternoon. Both RNs and LPNs are encouraged to apply—those with pediatric, ventilator, and trach care experience are especially valued for this assignment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing
• Prior experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care (pediatric preferred)
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to excellence in care
• Ability to accompany and supervise student on school transportation
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and school staff
• Reliability and dedication to full-time contracting throughout the school year

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to the student during school hours and transit
• Monitor and manage ventilator and trach needs
• Respond promptly to any health changes and provide appropriate interventions
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care
• Liaise with educators, therapists, and family members to ensure coordinated support
