As an itinerant RN, you’ll travel between elementary and secondary school sites, gaining exposure to a wide variety of workflows and leadership styles. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license (Nevada licensure or eligibility)
- Previous experience in Pediatrics or School Nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous, dynamic, and mobile environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized procedures as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act
- Conduct health screenings (height, weight, vision, hearing, scoliosis)
- Respond promptly to emergencies: provide care for acute illnesses, injuries, or urgent medical issues for students and staff
- Monitor and verify immunization/communicable disease records per state law
- Manage and order medical office supplies, maintain efficient operations
- Administer prescribed medications safely per established protocols
- Offer routine and emergency clinical care as needed
- Travel between assigned school sites (elementary and secondary)
