What We’re Looking For:

• Active and valid RN or LPN/LVN license in the state
• Demonstrated experience in a school nursing setting or with pediatric patients
• Proficiency in tracheostomy and ventilator care
• Comfortable and confident working 1:1 with a medically fragile student
• Able to work independently from the main school nursing office
• Willingness to accompany the student on the bus each day to and from school
• Strong communication skills and dedication to compassionate, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to the specific needs of the student throughout the school day and while riding the bus
• Monitor and manage the student’s medical status, ensuring safety at all times
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Keep accurate and timely documentation of all care activities and observations
• Collaborate with school staff and maintain open communication with the student’s family
• Proactively address any emergencies, changes in condition, or medical needs as they arise
