Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Special Education Teacher certification
• School-based experience preferred, especially in serving students with special healthcare needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to deliver compassionate care and adapt to dynamic school environments
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student health plans is highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and routine medical procedures for students
• Support students with special education needs, collaborating to implement IEPs and health plans
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Serve as a resource for staff on health and wellness initiatives
• Monitor and respond to medical emergencies and assist with crisis intervention as needed
• Advocate for safe and inclusive learning environments
