Key Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License required.
  • Background in conducting Special Education eligibility evaluations.
  • Experience with assessments related to Specific Learning Disabilities, particularly using the PSW (Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses) model.
  • Familiarity with evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Utilize a variety of assessment tools and strategies to address a broad range of student needs.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and parents regarding behavioral and academic concerns.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and uphold confidentiality in all processes.
  • Engage proactively with students and staff to foster a positive learning environment.
