Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain certification as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in completing student evaluations and assessments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families from diverse backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological evaluations for students as part of the special education process
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret evaluation results and recommend interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development and academic achievement
- Maintain accurate and compliant records, documentation, and reports
- Provide consultation and guidance regarding behavioral and social-emotional supports
