Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid (or eligible for) school psychologist licensure in Michigan; limited licensure applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Solid understanding of assessment tools, counseling strategies, and special education processes
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized education program (IEP) recommendations
  • Provide direct counseling and consultative support for students, parents, and staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student support and appropriate accommodations
  • Participate in crisis intervention and prevention planning
  • Maintain proper documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
