Make an impact in an educational setting by providing essential psychological services to elementary students. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting K-4 learners with a caseload of approximately 50 students, spanning 3 buildings. The position is scheduled to begin in the middle of August, offering an excellent opportunity for those passionate about child development and school-based mental health.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with K-4 students preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with special education processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
  • Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and assist with development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with parents and families regarding student progress and strategies for success
  • Travel between three buildings as needed to provide timely support
