Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active and valid School Psychologist certification and appropriate state licensure.
- Experience working in K-12 environments, with the ability to serve elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, IEPs, and special education processes.
- Demonstrated skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork with staff, families, and students.
- Organizational skills and flexibility to thrive across multiple grade levels and settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and emotional well-being.
- Work as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans.
- Provide direct and consultative services for students, including counseling and behavior interventions.
- Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts in the school community.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments and student success.
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance with state and federal educational requirements.
