Key Qualifications:

  • Possess an active NCDPI School Psychologist license (attach verification with application)
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing ECATS for case management and reporting
  • Previous work in PreK-12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Solid background in psychoeducational assessments and mental health consultation
  • Effective communication skills for conferencing with parents, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering staff training

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a vital resource by providing consultations, individual counseling, and crisis intervention services within the district
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities, ensuring timely and clear reporting
  • Facilitate conferences with families to address student concerns and develop support plans
  • Lead professional development and training sessions for school staff on topics related to mental health and educational best practices
  • Actively participate in multi-disciplinary teams, partnering closely with teachers and other school professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation through ECATS
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisory team
  • Travel between campuses throughout the district required (mileage not reimbursed)
