This full-time role spans the academic year, from August 18, 2026, to May 28, 2027. As a key contributor within the school community, you will focus primarily on conducting comprehensive evaluations that determine special education eligibility, helping shape educational trajectories for students in need of support.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Proven experience or specialized training in conducting evaluations for special education eligibility
- Solid understanding of relevant state and federal special education regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing evaluation reports and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage assessment caseload efficiently, adhering to deadlines
- Commitment to ethical standards of practice and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough psychoeducational evaluations to assess students for special education eligibility
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and students to interpret findings and discuss next steps
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
- Engage in problem-solving and provide recommendations for educational strategies and interventions based on evaluation results
- Participate in IEP meetings related to eligibility when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity throughout the assessment process
Work Schedule:
- School hours: 7:50 am–2:50 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 7:50 am–3:20 pm (Wednesday)
- Full time, 35-36 hours per week, ensuring a consistent routine that fits within the school day
