Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience with multi-tiered systems of support and response to intervention (MTSS/RTI)
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and data interpretation
- Proficiency in crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and counseling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with students, families, and staff
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
- Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for students’ educational progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines
