Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to shape educational planning
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention, as needed
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and support interventions
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP and other multi-disciplinary committees
- Offer professional insights and recommendations to enhance student well-being and academic achievement
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
