Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred
  • Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and assessment tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in student services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, providing guidance and recommendations that support individualized student needs
  • Develop and help implement evidence-based intervention strategies addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive, supportive educational environment
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
