Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling to students
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations regarding special education
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseload responsibilities efficiently
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological and academic assessments to support student learning and development
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create positive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and address student needs
- Support school-wide initiatives for mental health and social-emotional learning
