Make an impact supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional success for the 2026–2027 school year in Georgia. Two dedicated school psychologists are needed to serve full time in a contract position, contributing their expertise alongside educators, students, and families.

This position offers a unique chance to work in a collaborative educational setting, providing essential psychological services. You’ll evaluate students, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help create supportive learning environments. The school assignments and specific caseloads will be confirmed at a later date.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology required
  • Valid Georgia School Psychologist license
  • Teaching Certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA PSC)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify learning and behavioral needs
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop effective interventions
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention support to students as needed
  • Maintain accurate reports, documentation, and confidentiality
  • Adapt interventions to meet the diverse cultural and developmental needs within the district

Role Details:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week), contract role
  • Contract dates: August 5, 2026 – May 26, 2027
  • Number of assigned schools and caseload specifics to be updated
