Exciting opportunity available for an experienced School Psychologist to support student success in a collaborative educational setting. This contract, in-person role is conveniently located near Alsip, IL, and offers the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of students while working closely with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Flexibility and adaptability in meeting student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling services for students to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and recommend appropriate strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
