Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
School Year: 2026–2027
Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 3, 2027

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, assessment practices, and IEP procedures
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

• Full-time position serving a Pre-K–8 population
• Approximately 30 students on the caseload
• Primary responsibility is conducting initial evaluations
• All direct services must be provided onsite
• Report writing may be completed remotely
• Collaborative school-based environment
• Ready to interview ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychoeducational evaluations for students in Pre-K through 8th grade
• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
