Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience working in an educational setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education program (IEP) components
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Committed to fostering student growth and well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct counseling services and support for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Offer crisis intervention and recommendations for student support services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district and legal guidelines
