School Psychologist in Americus, KS

We are seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a School Psychologist for a contract assignment during the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll collaborate closely with K-12 students and faculty, providing expertise across multiple campuses—all located within a convenient 20-minute radius of Emporia, KS. This onsite role offers the opportunity to positively influence a diverse student population while working in an engaging and supportive atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Kansas School Psychologist license required
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school or educational cooperative
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
• Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies
• Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
• Advocate for students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being
