Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong knowledge of educational assessment tools, behavior intervention plans, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to provide counseling, academic guidance, and crisis intervention when needed
- Experience in interpreting assessment data and making appropriate recommendations
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in diverse educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior management plans
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services individually and in small groups
- Work closely with teachers, school personnel, and families to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Support crisis intervention and coordinate referrals for additional resources when necessary
