Key Qualifications:
- California licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing detailed reports
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, special education law, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing meaningful input and advocating for student needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies supporting student well-being and success
- Deliver crisis intervention services as needed
- Recommend evidence-based interventions and monitor students’ progress
- Support school-wide programs designed to foster safe and positive learning environments
