Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Working knowledge of state and federal education laws, especially IDEA and Section 504
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments to identify students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of appropriate educational goals
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Deliver recommendations for classroom strategies, instructional supports, and behavioral interventions
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in handling confidential student information
