This assignment offers a consistent schedule—choose between 8:50 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM, totaling 35 hours per week—providing the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with K-12 students in a school setting
- Familiarity with assessment tools and current best practices in psychological services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and administrators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and help implement behavior plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with school teams and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Adjust services and caseloads based on evolving school needs
