South Carolina-licensed School Psychologists are invited to partner with schools in the Anderson area, conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students. This flexible arrangement allows you to supplement your existing work while providing vital services that guide educational planning and support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform thorough psychoeducational evaluations, including initial assessments and reevaluations.
  • Administer assessments for social-emotional and behavioral functioning, adaptive behavior, executive functioning, attention, and, as needed, autism-related concerns.
  • Analyze and review existing evaluation data, academic records, classroom performance, teacher feedback, and input from parents prior to testing.
  • Choose, administer, and provide rationale for selected assessment tools.
  • Complete and submit evaluation reports within specified timelines, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings and participate in eligibility meetings—virtually or in person.
  • Coordinate with Special Education teams and school staff on scheduling and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with district protocols and uphold student confidentiality.
  • Provide your own assessment materials and verify parental consent prior to all testing activities.

Your Background:

  • Valid South Carolina Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (Level I, II, or III).
  • Master’s, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • School-based evaluation experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional report-writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Independent, deadline-driven, and comfortable collaborating across professional teams.
