Seeking a dynamic and experienced school psychology professional to conduct per-diem psychological evaluations supporting student success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational, social-emotional, behavioral, adaptive behavior, executive functioning, attention, and autism-related assessments when assigned
  • Review comprehensive educational records and collaborate with teachers, parents, and teams to determine appropriate evaluation needs
  • Select, administer, and document assessment tools tailored to suspected disabilities
  • Complete assessments within 30 days of consent; submit detailed reports within 7 days post-testing
  • Present findings at eligibility meetings (in-person or virtual) and offer actionable recommendations
  • Communicate and coordinate proactively with special education personnel and school staff for scheduling and logistics
  • Ensure all assessment materials are provided and confidentiality protocols are strictly followed
  • Verify parental consent prior to any assessment administration

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (Level I, II, or III)
  • Degree in School Psychology (Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral)
  • Prior school-based evaluation experience preferred
  • Strong report writing, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Confident managing evaluation timelines and working with multidisciplinary teams
