Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Graduate degree (Ed.S., MA, or Ph.D.) in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience performing psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong background in writing IEPs and participating in eligibility meetings
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to help determine students’ needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education staff and parents
  • Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and strategies for educational success
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention within the school community
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding behavioral and mental health support
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Consult with teachers and administrators to develop student-centered support plans
