Desired Skills & Experience:

• Licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist in the state
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong ability to perform psychological assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to diverse audiences
• Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or behavior intervention plans
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, ethical, and able to handle sensitive situations with discretion

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of students’ cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies for student support and intervention
• Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and recommendations for classroom modifications
• Develop and participate in training programs for staff, helping build capacity for social-emotional support across the school
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Advocate for student success, supporting positive school climates and inclusive practices
