Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Graduate degree (Ed.S., MA, or Ph.D.) in School Psychology or related field
- Experience performing psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Strong background in writing IEPs and participating in eligibility meetings
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to help determine students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education staff and parents
- Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and strategies for educational success
- Support crisis intervention and prevention within the school community
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding behavioral and mental health support
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Consult with teachers and administrators to develop student-centered support plans
