Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license required
- Experience with IEP development, implementation, and team collaboration
- Background working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Adept at counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management
- Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with educators, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for K-8 students within a supportive single-building setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs, ensuring compliance and effective support
- Provide direct counseling and social-emotional support to students
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement behavioral interventions
- Partner with teachers and families to foster student success in academic and social settings
- Assist with crisis intervention efforts and contribute to student safety plans as needed
