What you'll bring:
- New York State certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments in school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Comfort and proficiency with technology—especially in a virtual/remote (VOCO) environment
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing psychological consultations and assessments for students
- Facilitating and participating in IEP meetings and student support team processes
- Delivering counseling services and crisis interventions as needed
- Coordinating with school staff to develop strategies and interventions that promote student well-being
- Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive educational climate
With this position, you’ll benefit from a highly flexible, part-time schedule—approximately 15–20 hours per week over two days, with your hours open to negotiation.
