Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification in School Psychology
- Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to assess and address diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer guidance and consultation to school staff on effective classroom management and instructional techniques
- Stay current on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
