You will be working onsite with young learners, providing crucial psychoeducational assessments, building collaborative relationships with staff and families, and delivering interventions that help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, valid School Psychologist license issued by the state of Michigan (must be included with application materials)
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to cultural responsiveness and fostering inclusive educational practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for diverse elementary student populations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support the implementation of interventions
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Offer crisis intervention, preventative strategies, and support for positive mental health
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes to support ongoing development
