Embark on a fulfilling school-based opportunity supporting students from pre-kindergarten through age 21 for the 2025-2026 academic year, with the possibility of renewal. This contract position seeks a dedicated school psychologist to serve a diverse range of grade levels across elementary, middle, and high schools. Assignment locations and responsibilities will vary, offering both full-time and part-time scheduling options to meet your needs. The preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, with two potential start/end time windows: 7:20am–2:40pm or 8:30am–3:50pm.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist certification required
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred, but not mandatory
- Expertise in conducting comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, adaptive, and FBA/BIPs
- Ability to facilitate and participate in IEP and SST meetings
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to collaborate across multiple school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete student evaluations as needed (cognitive, behavioral, adaptive, FBA/BIPs)
- Participate in IEP and SST meetings, contributing professional insights
- Support the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Potential to provide counseling services if needed
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success across PK-21
