School Psychologist in Annapolis, MD

Providing specialized psychological support across multiple school levels, this contract position for the 2025-2026 school year offers an engaging opportunity in the Rock Hall, MD area. The role involves working with elementary, middle, and high school students to conduct assessments, participate in IEP and SST meetings, and contribute to behavioral intervention planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing comprehensive evaluations such as cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, adaptive functioning, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Attending IEP (Individualized Education Program) and SST (Student Support Team) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
• Potentially supporting counseling services as needed, though currently no students require direct counseling support from the school psychologist
• Providing services across a PK-21 age range with assignments spread among three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Maryland School Psychologist certification is required
• Prior experience in school psychology is preferred to effectively handle evaluations and student support
• Comfort using technology, as laptops and necessary equipment are provided

Work schedule offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options, Monday through Friday. Typical hours may be 7:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m., depending on assignment needs.
