Your expertise as a Maryland-certified School Psychologist will be vital in completing comprehensive evaluations, participating in IEP and SST meetings, and, when needed, contributing to Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs). While most current needs focus on assessments, there may also be opportunities to provide counseling or behavior support services should new needs arise.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Maryland School Psychologist certification required.
- Experience as a school psychologist preferred, especially with PK-21 populations.
- Proficiency conducting cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, adaptive assessments, and developing FBAs/BIPs.
- Ability to adapt to varied grade levels and changing caseloads.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively during team meetings and support documentation processes.
- Comfortable in a mobile role, moving between multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational assessments as needed.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP and SST meetings.
- Support development of FBAs and BIPs, as required.
- Potential to provide counseling services if new student needs arise.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Candidates will receive weekly pay between $50-55/hour. Healthcare benefits are included. Technology support is provided (laptop, etc.).
