Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field required
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment skills for cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations
  • Ability to interpret data and create actionable intervention strategies
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Delivering individualized and group counseling services to support student mental health and academic growth
  • Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and assisting in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Implementing behavior management techniques and crisis intervention support as needed
  • Providing professional development and resources for school staff related to mental health and learning differences
  • Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
