Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Behavior Specialist or School Psychologist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. With three openings available, this role is ideal for compassionate professionals ready to support the behavioral and psychological well-being of learners. Two full-year positions are based at the Ann Bremer Education Center, while the South Education Center offers two temporary roles covering leaves of absence—one anticipated through mid-October and another likely extending beyond September.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Moderate experience in a related position, working directly with children or adolescents
  • Valid Minnesota special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license, or credentials from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
  • Alternatively, a national Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or current pursuit of that credential
  • Experience as a licensed EBD/ASD Teacher with a background in behavioral intervention is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive school environment
  • Provide consultation and support on behavioral and academic strategies
  • Conduct assessments and interpret data to drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
