Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience with grades 6-8 preferred
- Solid understanding of current evaluation tools, psychoeducational assessments, and best practices in special education
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially in report writing and team collaboration
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and comprehensive assessments related to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and other student support meetings as required
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable reports to inform school-based decision-making
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure all student needs are met
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards
