Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience with grades 6-8 preferred
  • Solid understanding of current evaluation tools, psychoeducational assessments, and best practices in special education
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially in report writing and team collaboration
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, student-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations and comprehensive assessments related to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and other student support meetings as required
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable reports to inform school-based decision-making
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure all student needs are met
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards
