You’ll serve an annual evaluation caseload of 20-40 students, collaborating closely with faculty, families, and school teams. Your expertise will drive comprehensive special education assessments, lead vital IEP meetings, and contribute solutions as a key partner to the MTSS team. School hours run from 8 am to 4 pm, with available weekly schedules of 20-24 hours (part-time) or 37.5 hours (full-time), allowing for work-life balance.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master's or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Background in educational evaluations and report writing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to facilitate IEP meetings and work within MTSS frameworks
  • Experience in K-12 school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Develop and present findings in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Offer consultative support to teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Act as a specialist within the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) team
  • Document processes and maintain accurate, timely records
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
