Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Psychology
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Ability to design and implement effective behavioral interventions and support plans
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, special education laws, and best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Experience leading or participating in crisis intervention teams is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ learning and behavioral goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and help develop data-driven interventions
- Provide expert guidance and resources to staff on promoting mental health and inclusion
- Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture
