Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Practical experience in an educational setting, interpreting psychoeducational assessments, and providing direct student services
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
- Collaborative approach to working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with documentation procedures and confidentiality requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students when needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise in evaluation and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments and positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain detailed and accurate student records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
