Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Practical experience in an educational setting, interpreting psychoeducational assessments, and providing direct student services
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort with documentation procedures and confidentiality requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students when needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise in evaluation and recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments and positive behavioral interventions
  • Maintain detailed and accurate student records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
