Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and interventions in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Deep understanding of IEP development and knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student success
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and parents
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Serve as a key resource during multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on effective strategies to support diverse learners
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and deadlines
